Your breathing, digesting, circulatory and nervous systems all improve if you are more upright. Spinal joints and discs are also under far less stress and less likely to strain or degenerate over time.

It is unfortunately more and more common for young children to have back pain and posture is key to preventing this.

Straighten Up Ireland is a set of daily exercises which take three minutes to perform. They will develop specific muscles to hold the shape of your spine as well as develop greater flexibility.

Talking to children about their posture can be a sensitive topic, so find alternate ways to encourage them.
